Dr Laura has really help me regain my health. I went through 3 years of testing with other doctors to get to the root of me sickness without any relief. Once, I came to see Dr Laura, she was able to find the root of my illness and prescribe treatment. Within 3 months of my first visit, I felt better and was on the road to better health. I highly recommend St Louis Functional Medicine.
I have been seeing Dr. Wies since October of 2022 due to our daughter's tic disorder. Prior to seeing Dr. Wies, we visited many other doctors for the same issue but were told nothing was actually wrong, and that she would just grow out of it. However, the tics were very frequent (every second of the day) and were bothering her. We as parents felt very lost, confused and helpless.
Dr. Wies has been very patient with all my questions and really took the time to listen to my concerns. She guided me through the whole process to really identify the root cause of the tics, and gave me the knowledge to really understand what is going on. Every time when we did a test, Dr. Wies really took the time to explain the test results to me, and created a treatment plan that works for us. With Dr. Wies' help and professional advice, we made some changes to our daughter's diet, which drastically decreased the frequency and the intensity of her tics. The tics are still present but they are much more manageable. We are still in the process of detoxification and healing her leaky gut situation. We are feeling so much more hopeful and grounded in this whole process.
